Multifamily Retrofit Initiative for Sustainability and Equity (M-RISE)

The Multifamily Retrofit Initiative for Sustainability and Equity (M-RISE) is New Jersey’s upcoming Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)-funded whole-building rebate program for new and existing multifamily properties. M-RISE is being developed to help income-qualified multifamily properties access energy efficiency and high-efficiency electric solutions to improve building performance, modernize appliances, reduce energy use, and enhance resident comfort.

 

As New Jersey prepares for program launch, M-RISE is currently engaging property owners, contractors, developers, and workforce partners interested in participating in future program opportunities. Interested participants are encouraged to engage early to explore potential project opportunities, receive program updates, and help prepare for future funding availability!
